Larsen Contracts were selected as the specialist contractor to carry out the external render system. Works were carried out during the winter months and Larsen worked closely with Heron Bros in respect of programme.

A fully enclosed scaffold was adopted coupled with overnight air heating equipment to ensure programme was not compromised. The works were successfully completed in 6 weeks meeting programme. The works involved applying a minimum of 10mm cementitious base / dubbing out coat followed by a 3mm thick glass-fibre reinforced acrylic layer subsequently finished with a 1.5mm thick weather resistant stippled acrylic finish coat.
