Coca Cola operate a state of the art 50,000m2 manufacturing, bottling and distribution facility servicing all of Ireland outside Lisburn. The Knockmore Hill facility, which employs 600 people, has the capacity to produce 1.5 million litres of Coca-Cola beverages each day. Larsen Contracts provided the facilities management team with an anti-slip coating solution as part of their cyclical maintenance programme. In conjunction with Remmers, materials were trialled against the specification devised by Coca Cola to deal with wet areas, walkways and roads. Following agreement on a detailed schedule and programme of works, Larsen Contracts were appointed to apply the Remmers PH system. All surfaces were prepared by shot blasting and grinding followed by application of the Remmers PH system using different colours to designate different locations as well as applying line marking and Health & Safety symbols where necessary.
